Samsung Electronics reported record quarterly results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, with consolidated revenue reaching KRW 171.5 trillion, a 28% quarter-on-quarter increase. Operating profit also hit an all-time high at KRW 89.5 trillion.
The Device Solutions division posted KRW 127.5 trillion in revenue as the Memory Business set new records for quarterly revenue and operating profit. The company cited surging demand for AI-related memory products including HBM4 and HBM4E, with the industry’s first HBM4E samples already shipped to major customers.
Samsung said AI infrastructure capital expenditure and broader adoption of agentic AI continue to drive robust demand for server memory. The memory market is expected to remain undersupplied in the second half of 2026 despite some moderation in mobile and PC demand.
The company’s MX and Networks Businesses posted KRW 33.2 trillion in revenue on solid Galaxy S26 series sales. Samsung guided for continued technology leadership with next-generation AI platforms, including PCIe Gen6 and UFS 5.0 solutions.
